We all want our children to have the best start in life, Fun and Phonics aim to do just that. With the main emphasis being on fun & play, your child will become more confident, social and knowledgeable, right before your very eyes.
I'm Claire, lovingly known as "The Letter Lady" the founder of Fun and Phonics, I have been running pre-school classes for over 8 years now, and I just love to see the children grow, and become confident little people ready to branch out on their own and start "BIG SCHOOL".

I have 2 children of my own (9 & 6 and they have benefited greatly from attending my baby and pre-school classes over the years.
What to expect
Music; plays a key part in developing children's language, using our bodies and instruments to express ourselves through rhythm, rhyme and keeping the beat.
Movement; we incorporate plenty of movement to keep our children active, and sneak a little exercise for ourselves.

Creative; every week you and your child, will work together to produce a mini masterpiece to take home relating to the letter and sound of the week
Listening skills; we will play a variety of games that concentrate on our children's listening skills, one of the most important life skills. We also encourage sharing in our sessions through a variety of activities.
Letters and Sounds; we recap, reiterate and repeat our letters and sounds through story, puppets and song, relating to the letter and sound of the week giving plenty of opportunity to practice in class and then at home.
To develop your child's social, communication and fine motor skills.
To ignite a love of letters and their sounds through play and age appropriate activities.
Learn letters, and their sounds using correct pronunciation, in a fun, relaxed, environment.
